“I got SmartLipo done on my abdomen and inner thighs in February. I’m about 5’8” and in pretty good shape, but at 41 years old, I am fighting aging and gravity. For the last 2 years, I’ve had what I would consider a “poochy” stomach and no matter how hard I would work out, it never went away.

I started doing my research and went in for a consultation with Jody and Dr. Marko. They were both great! They answered all my questions and I didn’t feel pressured or rushed to do anything. It was quite easy for Dr. Marko to gain my trust and confidence in him because he was so warm, vibrant and very knowledgeable.

On the day of the procedure, Dr. Marko’s nurse prepped me by helping me get into my surgical garments and just putting me at ease with her light conversation. Because I was awake during the procedure, Dr. Marko, his nurse and I talked about everything under the sun – we even watched The View on the flat screen TV! Everything went so smoothly that I didn’t even realize that the procedure was over. After the surgery, I was able to get dressed on my own and walk to the car with no assistance. The next day, Dr. Marko called to check up on me and told me to call anytime I have any questions or concerns.

It has been about 2 months since I’ve had SmartLipo and I look and feel absolutely fabulous! I am so happy and excited. My abdomen is flat again and I’m beginning to see some definition in my inner thighs.

I can’t stress how important it is to find a doctor who is experienced and has been doing this a while. Dr. Marko and his staff have been with me every step of the way.
